Colin O’Brien is a commercial litigator representing clients in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Clients engage Colin for all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigations and counseling through trial and post-trial appeals, in a broad range of disciplines.
Colin’s practice includes representing corporate, institutional and nonprofit clients in complex civil litigation, including general corporate and business litigation, mass tort and class action matters, financial services litigation, breach of contract disputes, healthcare litigation, coverage and bad-faith disputes, catastrophic losses, religious and nonprofit litigation, employment litigation and counseling, and litigation involving the National Flood Insurance Program.
Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Colin worked for a Philadelphia law firm handling products liability, construction litigation, premises and other general liability matters. At Temple University Beasley School of Law, he was managing editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. Before law school, Colin was a teacher at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School as a member of the Alumni Service Corps.

Community Impact
Colin is a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program, where he volunteers as an interviewer for undergraduate admissions. Within Stradley Ronon, Colin is involved in the firm’s summer associate program and the recruitment and hiring of first-year and lateral associates.
