Conor Courtney counsels investment companies and investment advisers on regulatory, compliance and transactional issues.
Conor advises investment management clients in all aspects of legal representation, including on the applicability and interpretation of federal securities laws. He has contributed to several articles on court decisions impacting U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rulemaking relevant to investment advisers and funds.
While in law school, Conor served as a strategic initiatives manager at Arlington Economic Development. In this role, he worked closely with the Arlington County Attorney’s Office to ensure compliance with legal grant agreements and spearheaded the launch of Arlington’s Talent Pilot Program.
