Esther E. Cho

LOS ANGELES — Stradley Ronon partner Esther Cho, co-chair of the firm’s financial services litigation and enforcement practice, served as a panelist for the “Early Dispute Resolution: Best Practices and Principles” session of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Compliance & Legal (C&L) Annual Seminar. The event, hosted March 22-25 in Orlando, Florida, brought together legal and compliance professionals from across the financial services industry to engage in substantive discussions on current challenges and emerging trends in dispute resolution and regulatory compliance.

Esther’s panel examined practical approaches to early dispute resolution across a range of topics, including artificial intelligence in dispute resolution, assessing liability for and negotiating third-party scam claims, special considerations in early resolution of regulatory investigations and class actions, and using complaint data to identify and mitigate future risks.

Partner-in-charge of the firm’s Southern California office, Esther is a seasoned litigator with a particular focus on securities and regulatory matters. She regularly represents financial services firms in state and federal court and before arbitral tribunals in proceedings involving violations of state and federal securities laws and related rules and regulations.
