LOS ANGELES — Stradley Ronon partner Esther Cho, co-chair of the firm’s financial services litigation and enforcement practice, recently led a panel at the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Securities Arbitration and Mediation 2026 conference on September 10 in New York.

Esther’s session, “Discovery Best Practices in the FINRA Forum,” discussed recent changes to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) discovery practice, challenges often faced by claimants and respondents, and methods for addressing discovery issues.

A seasoned litigator with a particular focus on securities and regulatory matters, Esther regularly represents financial services firms in state and federal court and before arbitral tribunals in proceedings involving violations of state and federal securities laws and related rules and regulations. She is a member of FINRA’s National Arbitration and Mediation Committee, which makes recommendations to FINRA regarding recruitment, qualification, training and evaluation of arbitrators and mediators.
