Stradley Ronon Partner Jan Folena Discusses SEC Examination and Enforcement Priorities at IDC Webinar

WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon partner and co-chair of the firm’s securities and regulatory enforcement practice Jan Folena participated in the webinar “SEC Examination Priorities and Enforcement Trends – What Fund Directors Should Know,” hosted by the Independent Directors Council.
The program brought together fund governance professionals to examine key developments shaping the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s 2026 examination priorities and recent enforcement activity relevant to advisers, funds, and fund boards. During the discussion, Jan provided practical insights and identified key legal issues for fund directors navigating today’s evolving regulatory environment.
Jan advises and represents clients on various matters involving regulatory examinations, investigations and enforcement matters, and private civil litigation. She previously served as supervisory assistant chief litigation counsel in the SEC’s Enforcement Division, where she was the chief litigation counsel for the SEC’s Asset Management Unit.
