NEW YORK — Stradley Ronon partner Steven D. Feldman served as a panelist at the European American Chamber of Commerce New York (EACCNY) program, “Shifting Standards: Bribery and Anti-Corruption Enforcement in a New Era,” on October 22.

In his session, Steve discussed the shifting landscape of anti-bribery laws following recent developments in U.S. and European enforcement practices, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) executive order from February, related U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) memoranda, and the DOJ’s guidelines released in June. He also highlighted key issues for corporations navigating parallel U.S. and European regulatory frameworks, with a focus on compliance strategies, risk management and cross-border investigations.

Steve leads the firm’s white collar criminal defense, investigations and compliance practice and defends businesses and individuals in serious corporate and financial crimes. He frequently represents clients in multinational investigations and advises on compliance programs to reduce enforcement risks. A former federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, his experience and in-depth knowledge spans matters involving the securities laws, public corruption statutes, antitrust law, art and cultural object-related crimes, and healthcare fraud cases, among others.
