PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Jonathan B. Miller, a highly regarded investment management lawyer, has joined the firm as senior counsel from a multinational law firm. Miller has a distinguished legal career spanning over 30 years in the areas of corporate finance and securities regulation and issues related to the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act. He will join the firm’s New York office.

Before joining the firm, Miller was a senior counsel at a prominent law firm in New York, where he worked for more than three decades. He began his tenure there in 1987 and later became a partner in 1996. Throughout his legal career, Miller has worked on a diverse range of financing transactions, including securities offerings for investment funds and advisers, hedge funds and mortgage REITs. He also has represented clients in public and private equity and debt offerings involving various industries, including financial services, energy, manufacturing, technology and telecommunications.
Miller received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a recognition awarded to a student for superior academic achievement.
