Stradley Ronon’s Ben McCoy Examines Rising GLP-1 Litigation Trends at Health Law Roundtable Conference

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Ben McCoy presented at the Health Law Roundtable’s annual Ski & CLE conference on January 24 in Olympic Valley, California.
Ben’s presentation, “GLP-1s on Trial: The Emerging Wave of GLP-Related Litigation,” addressed the fast-evolving liability landscape surrounding GLP-1 therapies and related products.
In his practice, Ben focuses on representing managed care payors and health benefit plans in litigation against healthcare providers and other entities in the healthcare industry. He has achieved successful results in litigation involving essentially every major legal issue his clients face, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Mental Health Parity Act, provider network disputes, prompt-pay penalties, out-of-network usual, customary and reasonable (UCR) disputes, and coverage class actions.
