WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon partner Jesse Kanach, co-chair of the firm’s private investment funds practice, has been appointed as vice chair of the Private Funds Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.

The Private Funds Subcommittee seeks to identify and address regulatory and legislative matters of significance to investment managers of private funds. The group regularly comments on proposed and/or adopted rulemaking and other initiatives affecting private funds and engages in ongoing discussions with regulators and industry participants regarding the effects of actions on the business operations of private funds.
Jesse provides comprehensive advice on all aspects of the asset management industry. He represents a broad range of clients from domestic and international investment advisers and private funds — including hedge funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds and cryptocurrency funds — to family offices and regulated investment companies such as business development companies.
