
Lety Covarrubias

A member of the firm’s nationally recognized investment management practice, Lety Covarrubias advises investment companies and investment advisers in a wide range of compliance, regulatory and transactional issues.
Her experience includes counseling clients on regulatory matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related securities laws. She conducts research, drafts memoranda, and supports the preparation of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including Forms N-1A and N-2. Lety also advises on regulatory compliance obligations under both the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and she assists clients with board materials, fund formation and governance issues.
At Stradley Ronon, Lety previously served as an investment management law clerk, summer associate and office coordinator. She is a former research assistant for the University of Houston Law Center and juvenile justice intern for the Harris County Probation Department.
