PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon Chief Operating Officer Marissa Parker and Director of Knowledge & Innovation Sarah Hirebet spoke at LegalTechTalk 2026 on June 18 in London. The conference brought together legal industry leaders to explore innovation, technology adoption and the future of law firm operations.
Marissa and Sarah presented the session, “People Before Platforms: Driving Technology Adoption Through Human-Centered Leadership,” which examined how law firms can successfully implement technology by prioritizing people, process and culture. Drawing on their experience leading firmwide initiatives, they discussed the role of executive sponsorship, inclusive pilot programs and strategic vendor partnerships in building adoption and engagement.
As COO, Marissa combines her legal experience with her passion for people-centricity to drive operational agility, profitability and exceptional client service. She leads and directs the firm’s business operations — including compliance, growth, information technology and security, knowledge management, marketing, office operations, practice management and talent — and serves on the firm’s management committee.
Sarah is a strategic knowledge solutions architect empowering practice innovation by leveraging people, process, data and technology. She focuses on knowledge strategy and spearheads efforts to elevate the standards for legal learning and to integrate generative AI technologies into legal practice.
