WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon partners Sara Crovitz and Mark Greer participated as speakers at the Mutual Fund Directors Forum’s (MFDF) 2026 Directors’ Institute, held January 26–28. The Institute is a directors-only program where fund directors engage as the board of a fictional fund complex, navigating timely, real-life scenarios.

Over the course of the program, Sara and Mark engaged with directors in discussions surrounding oversight issues relating to private assets, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and fixed income products, among other governance topics critical to today’s fund boards. Modeled after a 15(c) meeting, Sara and Mark played the role of independent trustee counsel and encouraged directors to exchange perspectives on identifying and prioritizing challenges and to develop strategies for effectively working with management to address them.

As co-chair of the firm’s nationally recognized investment management practice, Sara provides counsel on the most pressing issues impacting the markets, including those related to independent trustees, mutual funds, money market funds, closed-end funds and ETFs as well as standalone advisers.

Mark represents registered investment companies, independent board members and registered investment advisers on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters that arise under federal securities laws.
