Lisa Jacobs Recommissioned as Member and Chair of Pennsylvania Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that partner Lisa Jacobs was reappointed by the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to her sixth consecutive two-year term as a member of the Pennsylvania Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee. She was also reelected as chair for another two-year term.
The Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee, established by 15 Pa.C.S. §155(c), is charged with making recommendations to the governor with respect to the Corporation Bureau budget and reporting to the Pennsylvania General Assembly on recommended legislative changes to Title 15. The committee also consults with the Pennsylvania Department of State regarding the administration of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth’s corporation and business organization laws.
Lisa has experience representing businesses and institutions in domestic and international transactional matters. For more than four decades, Lisa has served as an advisor to both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate and organizational finance, institutional and private equity financings, securitization and structured finance and entity governance issues.
