CHERRY HILL — Stradley Ronon partner Eric Hurwitz has been recognized as a finalist in the Best Mentor category as part of the New Jersey Legal Awards. Presented by Law.com and the New Jersey Law Journal, the awards spotlight the individuals and organizations who have made a lasting impact on the New Jersey legal landscape. 

The Best Mentor recognition honors an individual who has taken others to the next level, through formal mentorship programs or by simply serving as good leaders and guides. Winners are set to be announced at an awards ceremony on October 29 in Somerset, New Jersey.

As co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s consumer financial services litigation practice, Eric leads a team in defending financial institutions from claims arising out of nearly every type of consumer and commercial financial product. He is well versed in defending both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits against banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, student lenders, credit card companies, auto finance companies, debt collection companies and other financial services institutions. Eric is also the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Cherry Hill office.
