LOS ANGELES — Stradley Ronon partner Esther Cho served as a panelist at the Practising Law Institute (PLI) Securities Arbitration 2025 program on “Avoiding Ethical Minefields in the FINRA Forum.” The program, which took place September 11 in New York, brought together leading industry members to discuss practical tips for arbitrating and mediating securities cases along with current and emerging trends in securities arbitration.
During the panel, Esther explored ethical considerations for advocates and neutrals, covering arbitrator disclosures and disclosure updates, addressing joint representation and conflicts, and identifying late emerging conflicts.
Co-chair of the firm’s financial services litigation and enforcement practice, Esther regularly represents financial services firms in state and federal court and before arbitral tribunals in proceedings involving violations of state and federal securities laws and related rules and regulations. She also serves as a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)’s National Arbitration and Mediation Committee.
