WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon partner Sara Crovitz served as the moderator for the panel “The Feeling’s Mutual: Key Developments for Registered Investment Companies” at the 2026 Investment Adviser Association Compliance Conference in Washington, D.C.
The session brought together compliance professionals and legal practitioners to explore key regulatory developments affecting registered investment companies, including recent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rulemakings and broader developments related to exchange-traded funds (ETFs). It also discussed compliance impacts and practical strategies for navigating today’s evolving regulatory environment.
As co-chair of the firm’s investment management department, Sara provides counsel on the most pressing issues impacting the markets, including those related to independent trustees, mutual funds, money market funds, closed-end funds and ETFs as well as standalone advisers. She also counsels funds and investment advisers in connection with SEC compliance examinations and SEC rulemaking comment letters, and in seeking SEC exemptive, interpretive and no-action guidance. She previously served as former deputy chief counsel and associate director in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management.
