I supported the client’s in-house legal team on a variety of matters relating to their registered funds. My work included assisting with regulatory filings, reviewing disclosure documents, and providing practical guidance on day-to-day legal and compliance issues.

I learned how in-house teams integrate legal analysis into fast-moving business decisions and how they balance competing priorities in real time. The experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the client’s perspective, including the need for efficient and solution-oriented legal advice.

The secondment sharpened my ability to communicate clearly and concisely, anticipate client needs, and prioritize effectively. I also gained practical insight into how outside counsel can add value by being proactive and responsive, lessons that I now carry into my work at Stradley Ronon to better serve our clients.
