Stradley Ronon Partner Bruce Leto Shortlisted for Independent Counsel of the Year by With Intelligence

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Bruce Leto has been named a finalist for the Independent Counsel of the Year Award as part of the With Intelligence Mutual Fund & ETF Awards 2026. Bruce was shortlisted in recognition of his work as trusted counsel to independent trustees of numerous funds, including, most notably, his role in assisting Dimensional Funds and their independent directors with securing U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission exemptive relief.
Each year, With Intelligence honors excellence in the asset management sector, recognizing business leaders, innovators, fund directors and top-performing funds. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in New York on February 11.
Consistently acknowledged in the market as one of the top registered funds lawyers in the United States, Bruce has one of the largest funds practices of any investment management lawyer in the country. Bruce’s practice spans securities and corporate law matters relating to pooled investment products, including registered and unregistered, open- and closed-end investment companies.
For more than three decades, Bruce served as both chair and co-chair of the firm’s nationally recognized investment management practice. Bruce served as the architect of the practice through a period of tremendous growth and success, expanding its size from approximately 10 to more than 70 lawyers to become one of the largest investment management practices nationwide. He also serves on the firm’s management committee.
