PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon senior counsel Samuel Arena participated in developing and presenting the content for the Vision 100 Plenary Session of the 2026 American Bar Association, Fidelity and Surety Law Committee (FSLC) Midwinter Conference (MWC) held in Washington, DC, on January 21–23, 2026.

As the FSLC approaches its centennial, past and upcoming FSLC chairs participated in the FSLC’s MWC Vision 100 Plenary Session, titled “Honoring Our Legacy, Inspiring Our Future — A Conversation With FSLC Chairs, Past, Present and Future,” by sharing with the audience their experiences and insights regarding decades of legal evolution, professional challenges and transformations in the fidelity and surety industries. During the discussion, moderated by current FSLC Chair Bruce Corriveau, Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance, these “past, present and future” FSLC leaders reflected on pivotal moments in FSLC history and discussed how the FSLC is preparing the next generation of FSLC leaders.

Sam has spent over four decades at Stradley Ronon, focusing his practice on insurance law and fidelity and surety law. He is a past chair of the FSLC and a recipient of the FSLC’s Martin J. Andrew Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fidelity and Surety Law. Sam has represented insurance companies across the United States in all phases of complex insurance coverage, extracontractual liability and fidelity and surety matters.
