Shawn A. Hendricks

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Shawn Hendricks has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of its 2026 40 Under 40 honorees. This annual award honors professionals who are making a significant impact on their industries and communities and shaping the future of the Greater Philadelphia region.

Winners will be profiled in a special print edition of the publication and celebrated at an awards ceremony this June.

Shawn is relied upon by the full spectrum of investment companies (including mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds), private funds and investment advisers in connection with various regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. He advises on and manages regulatory filings, registration statements, offering documents, proxy solicitations, securities research, contract negotiations and board counseling.

In addition to his practice, Shawn co-chairs the firm’s hiring efforts and participates extensively in its pro bono work, inclusion, talent development and mentorship committees.

Outside of the firm, Shawn currently serves as a member of the board of directors and finance committee of the African American Museum in Philadelphia. He also serves on the advisory board of the Drexel University LeBow College of Business BRIDGE Program, a mentorship and support network empowering underrepresented students to succeed and evolve as future business leaders.

Shawn has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch, as a With Intelligence Rising Star in the Mutual Fund/ETF Awards, on The Legal Intelligencer Lawyers on the Fast Track list, and as a 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow.
