NEW YORK — Stradley Ronon associate Linsay Sobers was recognized as this year’s Alumni Spotlight at the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program Annual Benefit, held on October 15 in New York.

A participant of the program in 2015, Linsay was honored for her professional accomplishments and dedication to the legal field. The Alumni Spotlight highlights former participants who exemplify the program’s mission and inspire future generations of legal professionals.

“Linsay has done a fantastic job of not only being a great mentee, but also a great mentor to those around her,” said Dean Krishna, partner and chair of the tax practice at Stradley Ronon. “She has a gift for teaching and inspiring others — helping colleagues become better lawyers and ask the right questions. This honor reflects her accomplishments to date, and we are thrilled for her!”

The Sotomayor Program is named after U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and her mother, Celina Baez Sotomayor. The program provides judicial internship experiences, educational programming, mentorship, wellness coaching and standardized test preparation to over 90 interns each summer.

Linsay concentrates her practice on transactional tax matters. She advises clients on various tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, restructurings, and fund-related transactions.
