WSFS Bank Appoints Stradley Ronon Counsel Michelle Hong to Its Board of Directors

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon trusts, estates and private client counsel Michelle Hong has been appointed to the board of WSFS Bank, the oldest and largest locally headquartered bank and wealth management franchise in the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region. In this role, Michelle will leverage her broad range of accomplishments and experience to enhance the bank’s objectives and operations.
Michelle, who joined Stradley Ronon in September, has more than 25 years of experience spanning the financial and legal services industries, including at a Fortune 500 bank and at global law firms. She advises on all aspects of estate planning and wealth management for institutions, high-net-worth individuals and families involving financial, legal, governance and philanthropic matters. Michelle has guided individuals and families through complex federal, state and international tax and business issues and has administered intricate trusts and estates.

A leader in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Michelle has served as an independent corporate director, board member and trustee for numerous organizations across the Philadelphia region, including PECO, WHYY, Committee of Seventy, Philabundance and Main Line Health. She is a member of the Forum of Executive Women and the International Women’s Forum.
Her notable career has entailed serving as a founding partner of the Philadelphia office of a global financial institution offering asset servicing, investment management and wealth management services. She previously served as senior vice president at the nation’s oldest and largest private bank and began her career as an associate in the private client practices of two Am Law 20 firms.
