PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Daniel Pereira participated in a virtual panel discussing planning strategies and tips for litigation claims against third-party trusts as part of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Law Section Quarterly Meeting & CLE on October 14. The event was organized by associate Andrew Barron, who serves as an executive committee member of the section.
Daniel’s session, “Planning for and Litigating Creditor and Divorce Claims Against Third-Party Trusts,” explored litigation and bankruptcy strategies in creditor and divorce claims against third-party trusts — how these trusts are attacked, how they can be defended, and the complex legal strategies that center on the distinction between separate and marital/commingled property.
Daniel concentrates his practice on business bankruptcies, receiverships and other insolvency-related issues. His practice spans both transactional and litigation matters and he regularly appears in federal and state court proceedings.
