Edwin (Tucker) Boynton advises high-net-worth individuals and their families — particularly owners of closely held businesses — on all aspects of estate and tax planning, including generation-skipping tax, gift tax, income tax and related matters. In addition, Tucker represents fiduciaries in estate and trust administration matters and acts as a fiduciary for high-net-worth families and financial institutions.
Tucker serves as counsel for and represents numerous other estates and private foundations and regularly advises clients on all aspects of charitable giving. As the director of several grant-making foundations, Tucker has intimate knowledge of the complex regulatory compliance and legal issues that these charitable organizations face.
Rounding out his practice, Tucker provides counsel on personal income tax, fiduciary income tax and Orphans' Court litigation; handles the administration of family trusts controlling publicly held companies; and creates irrevocable trusts and related tax planning involving initial public offerings (IPOs).
