WASHINGTON — Stradley Ronon managing counsel Katrina Berishaj participated as a panelist at the 2025 SPARK Institute Forum on November 3 in Palm Beach, Florida, on “Guaranteed Lifetime Income: So Much Talk & So Little Action!” The forum gathered key leaders, policymakers and financial professionals to explore innovations shaping the retirement and investment landscape.

During her panel, Katrina and fellow industry professionals discussed guaranteed lifetime income in defined contribution plans, including the slow pace and lack of adoption and strategies to change that pace moving forward.

Chair of the firm’s ERISA and employee benefits practice, Katrina advises service providers, plan fiduciaries, and plan sponsors on investment matters relating to defined benefit and defined contribution plans, including by negotiating and structuring Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) plan investments in private equity funds, hedge funds, collective investment trusts, separately managed accounts and other investment vehicles.
