PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Lisa Jacobs has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Martin I. Lubaroff Award from the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section’s Committee on LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities. The prestigious Lubaroff Award honors lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, scholarship and service in business entity law, particularly in the areas of limited liability companies (LLCs), partnerships and unincorporated entities.
The Lubaroff Award commemorates the legacy of Marty Lubaroff, a Delaware lawyer whose influential work advanced the study and practice of partnerships and unincorporated entities and left a lasting impact on the legal community. Lisa was recognized for her work on Pennsylvania’s unincorporated entities statutes, leadership of the Joint Editorial Board on Uniform Unincorporated Business Entities, and work as a Uniform Law Commissioner and in her role as president of the Uniform Law Commission, among other accomplishments. Lisa is set to be formally recognized at the 2026 LLC Institute on October 15 in Washington, D.C.
For more than four decades, Lisa has represented businesses and institutions on U.S. and global transactional matters. She advises both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, institutional and private equity financings, and organizational structuring and governance issues.
