In the July issue of The Investment Lawyer, partners Greg DiMeglio, Jan Folena and Sara Crovitz and associate Nick D’Addio contributed an article analyzing the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s fiscal year 2024 enforcement results, which showed a record $8.2 billion in financial remedies despite fewer enforcement actions than the previous fiscal year. In 2025, the SEC’s enforcement results have begun to reflect new priorities consistent with a focus on investor harm and individual accountability.
