PHILADELPHIA — The American Lawyer has selected Stradley Ronon’s Stradley Labs Legal Gen AI Drivers Certification program as a finalist for Best Professional Development Initiative in its annual Industry Awards. This comprehensive, 13-CLE accredited program, created in collaboration with legal technology pioneer vLex, sets a new standard for law firm professional development in generative artificial intelligence.

“Our creation of Stradley Labs with vLex grew from asking ourselves, if we want to provide excellent client service that is fully gen AI amplified, what are the very best practices to provide engaging training that results in true transformation? We are grateful to The American Lawyer for recognizing these efforts among those that have the largest impact in the legal industry,” said Sarah Hirebet, director of knowledge management at Stradley Ronon.

This summer, an initial cohort of 30 Stradley Ronon lawyers and business professionals developed core competencies through hands-on practice, hackathons and gamified exercises that model best practices and real-world use cases. The next cohort begins the program in September, and the larger firm community will enjoy access to customized learning tracks to help support them wherever they are in their gen AI journeys. The Industry Awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, law firms and legal departments across various practice areas and specialties. Winners are set to be announced at a gala on November 13 in New York.
