TJ Hurst is a seasoned political strategist known for advocacy at both the local level in Philadelphia and the state level in Pennsylvania. He serves as a connector, including between the business community and venture capital in order to drive economic growth and development. He has worked on political campaigns from the presidential down to the ward level. He now spends his time navigating intergovernmental policies, budgets and appropriations.
TJ develops comprehensive strategies to effectively navigate complex legislative and regulatory landscapes. He provides legislative advocacy, strategic planning and regulatory analysis to support clients’ business growth. He designs and implements advocacy initiatives across states and sectors, including real estate, construction, education, nonprofit, emerging technology, venture capital and private equity, to name a few.
Prior to joining the firm, TJ was the founder and owner of Hurst Management, where he provided political consulting and business development support to clients. TJ also serves as an investor relations manager at Bullpen Capital. Known as a highly interpersonal and adaptable team-oriented leader, TJ excels at fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.
TJ lives with his wife and two daughters in West Philadelphia.
