PHILADELPHIA — Members of Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice delved into the acceleration of innovation across the industry and the impact on fund products during a lunch-and-learn session on March 23. The event was hosted by the firm during the Investment Company Institute (ICI)’s 2026 Investment Management Conference in Palm Desert, California.
The event, “Old Vehicles, New Tricks: Navigating Innovation,” was presented by partners Taylor Brody, Joel Corriero, Jamie Gershkow and Mark Greer. The discussion covered how longstanding fund structures are being reengineered to meet evolving investor demand, including topics such as tokenization, stablecoins and cryptocurrency; conversions under Section 351 of the Internal Revenue Code; and closed-end fund activism.
Stradley Ronon’s investment management practice has helped shape the industry for almost a century, advising investment advisers, public and private funds, fund boards, service providers and insurance companies on matters ranging from traditional and novel regulatory issues to practical considerations relevant to initial formation and continued operations.
