Stradley Ronon’s launch of a 10-lawyer office in Southern California was recently covered by The Recorder. Managing partner Mike O’Mara and Southern California partner-in-charge Esther Cho sat down with the publication to discuss how the partnership came to fruition.
“When we started engaging and talking [with Stradley], we realized we can leverage our relationships and client base [with the firm] and we can move from the West Coast all the way through the U.S.,” Esther told The Recorder. “We’ve been on the West Coast, primarily, and we’ve never been able to tap into some of the other geographic areas [our clients needed]. It was somewhat frustrating as we evolved.”
“But really, it was the people and the culture we were looking for. We didn’t know we were looking for such a fit until we found it,” Esther said.
