Katie Gallop is a member of the firm’s investment management group and focuses her practice on the representation of investment institutions and advisers in a variety of regulatory, compliance and transactional matters.
Katie received her J.D. cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, where she served as senior note and comment editor for the Administrative Law Review and worked as a teaching assistant in the Legal Rhetoric department. During her time in law school, she gained firsthand experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission while interning within the Enforcement Division’s Office of the Whistleblower. She also interned at the Federal Aviation Administration and the D.C. Superior Court.
Prior to attending law school, Katie worked for a public health policy nonprofit.
