Stradley Ronon Welcomes Ten Fall Associates

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to welcome ten new fall associates to the firm. Mustafa Almusawi, Michael Amugo, Zachary Bradley, Geena Marzouca and Grace Wydeven have joined the investment management group. Katherine Durr has joined the business department. Nancy Fisher, Amy Lyon and Andrea Smith have joined the litigation group. Rachel Ortiz has joined the trusts, estates and personal planning group.

Mustafa Almusawi earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. While he was in law school, he served as a legal assistant at the Federal Judicial Center in their Research Division. He also was a legal intern for the House Oversight Committee. Almusawi earned his B.A. at George Mason University.

Michael Amugo earned his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he was a Staff Editor for the Drexel Law Review, Volume XIII. While he was in law school, he interned at Lannett Company, Inc. in their legal department. Amugo completed his LL.B. at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and his LL.M. at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Zachary Bradley earned his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Best Student Performance in Lawyering Practice Seminar. While he was in law school, he interned for both Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote and The Honorable Douglas G. Reichley at the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas. Bradley received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.

Katherine Durr earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern to the United States Magistrate Judge Richard A. Lloret and The Honorable Gerald J. Pappert of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and The Honorable Maria McLaughlin of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Durr received her B.A. from Vassar College.

Nancy Fisher earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as both the Articles Editor and Symposium Editor of the Temple Law Review. While attending law school, Fisher worked as a law clerk at DLA Piper. She also participated in the Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Program under The Honorable Timothy R. Rice, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Fisher received her B.A. from Villanova University.

Amy Lyon earned her J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she was an editor for the Drexel Law Review and a member of the National LGBT Bar Association. While in law school, she was a judicial intern for The Honorable C. Darnell Jones II, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and a legal fellow for Amnesty International USA. Lyon received her B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a member of the varsity rowing team.

Geena Marzouca earned her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, where she was a senior staff member for the American University Law Review and a Dean’s Fellow for Legal Rhetoric and Writing. While she was in law school, she interned for The Honorable Ellen Venzer in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. She also interned in the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Office of Compliance, Inspections, Examinations. Marzouca received her B.S. from the University of Miami.

Rachel Ortiz earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as both the lead Research Editor and Staff Editor for the Temple Law Review. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Judge Wendy Beetlestone of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and an intern at the U.S. Department of Labor in the Office of the Solicitor. Rachel received her B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and her M.S. from Sacred Heart University.

Andrea Smith earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as both the Note/Comment/Symposium Editor and Staff Editor for the Temple Law Review. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Charles A. Ehrlich of the Criminal Trial Division in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, Magistrate Judge Lynne A. Sitarski of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and The Honorable Chad F. Kenney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania through the Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Program. After law school, Smith clerked for The Honorable John R. Padova of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Smith received her B.A. from Temple University.

Grace Wydeven earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she received the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service and served as a Staff Writer for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and as an Insurance Fraud Section Intern for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. Wydeven received her B.A. from Georgetown University.
