Stradley Ronon Partner Andrew Levine Discusses Federal Legislation at Maritime Exchange Event

PHILADELPHIA — Partner Andrew Levine, co-chair of the firm’s environmental practice, served as a panelist at an event hosted by the Maritime Exchange for the Delaware River and Bay on January 24. The Maritime Exchange is a nonprofit trade association that advocates for port and related businesses in the region.

 

The event, “Maritime Matters — LegalEase, Expanded,” covered key legal issues affecting the maritime industry. Andy’s session focused on what ports are doing to diversify energy supplies, ensure energy resiliency and meet sustainability goals. He also discussed how recent federal legislation has imposed standards on public and environmental infrastructure with respect to climate resiliency, decarbonization and energy efficiency.
