Stradley Ronon Senior Counsel Bennett Picker Receives Outstanding Book Award from CPR Institute

PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon senior counsel Bennett Picker has been recognized with the Outstanding Book Award from the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR Institute) as part of its 2024 Annual Awards. Ben co-authored “Commercial Mediation Practice Guide: A Practical Handbook for Lawyers and Their Business Clients, Third Edition,” which was honored for its role in advancing understanding in the field of alternative dispute resolution.

The practice guide provides an invaluable and straightforward understanding of key suitability, preparation and advocacy issues in mediation. Ben was formally recognized at the CPR Institute’s annual meeting on March 7.

Ben said, “I am incredibly honored and pleased to be recognized for my work, especially because the CPR Institute has been the worldwide thought leader in mediation for many decades.”

As a mediator and arbitrator, Ben has successfully resolved many hundreds of domestic and international disputes. He has served as a neutral in complex business disputes involving corporate and commercial transactions, asset/stock purchase agreements, securities, employment, Employee Retirement Income Security Act, intellectual property, real estate, and data breach class actions, among others. Ben is a member of the CPR Institute’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals and Employment Panel.
