PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Samuel J. Arena, Jr. has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel. ACCEC is a national organization comprised of a select group of preeminent lawyers involved in coverage and extracontractual matters. Fellows represent policyholders and insurers and include honorary members from academia. ACCEC Fellows are elected from among practicing lawyers who have engaged substantially in the practice of insurance law for at least 15 consecutive years, and who meet and continue to meet the qualification requirements which are established by the Board of Regents.
Arena has concentrated his practice on insurance law and fidelity and surety law for more than 34 years. A leader in Stradley Ronon’s insurance practice group and the chair of the firm’s fidelity and surety practice group, he represents insurance companies in complex insurance coverage and fidelity and surety matters. Arena has extensive experience representing insurance companies in bad-faith and extra-contractual liability claims and litigation.
