Claire McFee focuses her practice on representing investment companies, including mutual funds, private funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds, and investment advisers on regulatory and compliance matters.
Her work includes drafting and reviewing registration statements, proxy solicitation materials and other regulatory filings; researching various securities and corporate law issues; and preparing board materials.
During law school, Claire served as a staff editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, a member of the Brooklyn Business Law Association and a legal intern at New York State Homes and Community Renewal. Additionally, Claire represented low-income cooperative boards of directors in various matters, including policy development, co-op unit sales, preparation for loan closings and review of regulatory and other agreements through the Brooklyn Law School Corporate and Real Estate Clinic. She was also a member of Stradley Ronon’s summer associate program.
Before law school, she was a senior associate on the commercial mortgage-backed securities team at KPMG LLP.
