Catherine Ward Honored by Moorestown

Stradley Ronon Partner Catherine M. Ward was recently recognized by Moorestown, New Jersey, Mayor Victoria Napolitano, who declared Feb. 9 a day for the township to honor Ward. In a mayoral proclamation, Napolitano noted that Ward “has been exceptionally dedicated to the Moorestown community through her immeasurable volunteer leadership and participation in sustainability efforts and activities.”

Ward serves as the first chairperson of the Green Team of Sustainable Moorestown and is the former vice chair of the Moorestown Environmental Committee. Her efforts have helped the township secure sustainability-related grants and also earn Moorestown a Bronze Certification through the Sustainable Jersey program.

Ward is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s environmental practice group, where she spends much of her practice helping clients understand the complexities of regulations at the intersection of science and law. With experience as a chemist and environmental consultant, she brings a unique perspective to assist companies – who are navigating often conflicting legal scenarios – in identifying opportunities and advantages.
