The Stradley Ronon Diversity Fellowship is designed to celebrate diversity in the legal profession and to support the development of exceptional, diverse law students into outstanding Stradley Ronon lawyers. Diversity Fellows have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working both in a law firm and in-house by splitting their summer between Stradley and a firm client. Previous corporate partners include Vanguard, InterDigital Inc., AmerisourceBergen Corporation, and the Investment Company Institute. In addition to gaining practical experience, Diversity Fellows receive mentorship and financial support in the form of a $10,000 scholarship.

Recipients of the Fellowship receive:

  • A financial award of $10,000;
  • A paid position as a summer associate (following completion of 2L/3LE studies), during which the recipient will spend a portion of the summer working in-house with a firm client.
  • Mentoring and support from Stradley attorneys familiar with the corporate partner;
  • Eligibility for post-graduation partnership-track associate employment with Stradley.

To be eligible for the Fellowship, you must:

  • Be a rising 2L (or 3LE) at an ABA accredited law school;
  • Identify as a member of a group that has been underrepresented in the legal industry. This includes individuals who identify as Black, African American, Asian, Asian American, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, Native American, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latino, Latina, multi-racial, LGBT+, queer or living with a disability (as defined by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act);
  • Have an exceptional academic record; and
  • Demonstrate an intention to practice law at Stradley.
