PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partners Craig R. Blackman and Kevin R. Casey presented at The University of the Arts’ Graduate School Program in Museum Services on Nov. 8 in Philadelphia. Blackman presented “The Role of Insurance in the Fine Arts and Museum World,” and Casey spoke on “Intellectual Property Law for Museums.”
Blackman is co-chair of the firm’s insurance practice and cyber insurance groups. Blackman is a nationally recognized authority on the National Flood Insurance Program and focuses his practice on a variety of insurance industry issues, including: commercial and personal lines; cyber; directors & officers and errors & omissions; general liability; land title; fidelity and surety; and professional, employment and products liability. He has counseled clients on primary, umbrella, excess policies and reinsurance, as well as captive, self-insured and surplus lines programs; and proof of claim/coverage analyses in receivership.
Casey is chair of the
intellectual property and the
IP litigation groups at Stradley Ronon and an active member of the alternative dispute resolution group. He has counseled clients for over 30 years in all aspects of the IP field, focusing on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing and opinions. Casey has also been lead litigation counsel and has participated as assistant counsel in more than 60 cases. He has an active appellate practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where he clerked for former Chief Judge Helen Nies.
