PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partners Keith R. Dutill and Michael W. Mundt spoke at Institutional Investor’s Institutional Governance and Legal Symposium on May 2 and 3 in London. Dutill moderated the panel, “How Are Institutional Investors Globally Facing the Growing Litigation Challenge?” which examined how different investors in different domiciles are confronting litigation issues, including developing and implementing policies and best practices in considering and pursuing opt-out litigation. Mundt served on the panel, “The Growing Regulatory Burden Everywhere and Its Effect on Boards of Directors,” which addressed the ways that new financial regulations around the world are affecting board duties and changing the necessary skill sets for directors.

Dutill is a trial lawyer with a national practice focused on high stakes litigation including securities fraud, investment management and intellectual property disputes. He has tried more than 50 cases to verdict or final award and has successfully defended both public and private companies in jury trials involving claims ranging from antitrust violations to theft of trade secrets. Dutill has substantial experience representing mutual fund complexes in securities-related litigation.

Mundt is nationally recognized for his work in the area of ETFs. He served on the advisory board for the Institutional Governance & Legal Symposium. Mundt assists clients with all phases of the complex regulatory process required to introduce and operate index-based and actively managed ETFs, as well as next generation exchange-traded products.
