Craig Blackman and Jana Landon Speak at 2018 Convocation Event

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Craig R. Blackman and Counsel Jana M. Landon presented at Convocation 2018, a risk management conference for Catholic leadership, on May 23 in Minneapolis. Blackman and Landon’s presentation, “Cyber Threats & Basic Security: Planning for Protection & Insurance Issues,” discussed cyber threats for religious institutions, including identifying and quantifying cyber incidents, understanding the implications, building a cost‐effective management plan, and evaluating cyber insurance to cover any potential losses.

Blackman is Co-Chair of the firm’s Insurance practice and Cyber Insurance group. Blackman is a nationally recognized authority on the National Flood Insurance Program and focuses his practice on a variety of insurance industry issues, including: commercial and personal lines; cyber; directors & officers and errors & omissions with a focus on Mutual Fund boards; general liability; land title; fidelity and surety; and professional, employment and products liability. He has counseled clients on primary, umbrella, excess policies and reinsurance, as well as captive, self-insured and surplus lines programs; and proof of claim/coverage analyses in receivership.

Landon is Co-Chair of the Cyber Insurance group and Data Breach team at Stradley Ronon. Her practice focuses on advising lawyers and clients on data security and data management issues and legal, technical and strategic issues regarding information governance. She also acts as a data breach coach.
