PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Mena Larmour was honored as a “Rising Star” at the 2019 Mutual Fund Industry Awards in New York on April 11. Winners were nominated by their peers, mentors and colleagues, and selected by the editorial staff of Fund Directions based on their demonstration of the following criteria: leadership in their profession, firm and/or industry; outstanding contributions to innovations, product development, client service, sales and/or growth in assets or returns; recognition by their firm and/or industry groups; active contribution to the broader mutual fund community; spending fewer than 15 years working in the mutual fund industry; and other quantifiable contributions to their profession, firm, clients and/or industry. Larmour focuses her practice on counseling investment companies, independent trustees and investment advisers in connection with regulatory, compliance and transactional issues. She regularly assists clients with fund formations and restructurings; drafting disclosure and compliance procedures to bring clients into compliance with regulatory initiatives; complex-wide proxy solicitations; open-end and closed-end fund reorganizations; and various other corporate governance and transactional matters.
