Stradley Ronon Partner Speaks at Public Investors Advocate Bar Association’s Annual Meeting

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Paula D. Shaffner served as a panelist at Public Investors Advocate Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and Securities Law Seminar on Oct. 23 in Austin, Texas. Shaffner’s panel, “From the Defense Bar Perspective,” discussed settlements, mediation and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) arbitration.

Shaffner, co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s securities litigation & enforcement practice group, represents individuals and companies in securities litigation, and defends clients in regulatory matters before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Agency (FINRA) and various exchanges and state regulators. She also represents clients in litigation filed in court or arbitration and conducts internal investigations and provides compliance counseling. She is actively involved with West Chester University, currently serving as the President of the West Chester University Foundation. In addition, Shaffner delivered the undergraduate commencement address to the Winter graduating class in 2016.
