PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Bruce G. Leto participated in an Independent Directors Council (IDC) webinar on May 1. The webinar was entitled “SEC Emergency Relief in Light of COVID-19: An Overview for Fund Boards.” Leto joined panelists Paul Cellupica, the Deputy Director and Chief Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Division of Investment Management, Dorothy Donohue, the Deputy General Counsel of Securities Regulation of the Investment Company Institute, and moderator Annette Capretta, the Deputy Managing Director of the IDC.

The IDC supports investment company independent directors in fulfilling their responsibilities to represent the interests of fund shareholders, promotes the highest standards of fund governance for the benefit and protection of fund shareholders, and keeps fund directors informed about issues that affect their ability to fulfill their responsibilities while adapting to the rapidly changing financial services landscape.
