PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce Settlement Music School honored Bruce G. Leto at the 112th Anniversary Gala for his continuous support and dedication to the school and its mission. The Music Can Overcome Gala is the organization’s largest fundraising event that provides financial aid to students in the Philadelphia region. Due to the pandemic, the fundraising event was presented virtually on April 25 and featured performances by Settlement students, faculty, alumni and board members. For 112 years, Settlement has provided the Greater Philadelphia region with the highest quality education in music, dance, and creative arts. Settlement is one of the oldest and largest community schools of the arts in the nation. By providing financial aid to more than 60% of the student population, Settlement ensures that arts education is accessible to all, from as young as six months to age 99.
Leto is co-chair of Stradley Ronon’s investment management group, one of the premier investment management practices in the country, representing investment company clients with more than 1,500 separate series/funds and assets under management exceeding $2 trillion. Under his leadership, the group has expanded in size from 10 to more than 60 investment management attorneys, becoming the largest such practice in Philadelphia, and one of the largest nationwide. Consistently acknowledged in the market as one of the top registered-funds lawyers in the United States, Leto also serves on Stradley Ronon’s board of directors and its management committee, as well as on the advisory board of BoardIQ, an industry publication that addresses issues confronting investment company independent directors. He also serves on the board of trustees and the executive committee for Settlement Music School.
