Stradley Ronon Announces New Director of Talent Development

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is proud to welcome Lauren Sweeney to the firm as the director of talent development. She will implement and oversee firmwide professional and leadership development programs and career advancement initiatives for firm attorneys, paralegals and business professionals.

“We were seeking an innovator who was poised to lead our professional development programs with creativity and collaboration, and Lauren is the perfect addition to enhance our growing talent and recruitment team,” said Chief Talent Officer Ryan P. Galvin.

Sweeney will be responsible for tailoring programs and projects to the unique development goals and objectives of the firm’s dynamic practice groups, business departments, and regions while fostering our firmwide sense of community. She will report to Galvin and work closely with the firm’s recruitment team, practice groups and business professional leaders.

Executive Director Gillian G. Facher added, “Stradley is expanding its professional development programs across all segments of our population to deliver programs and initiatives that will serve to differentiate us in the marketplace. The addition of Lauren Sweeny is a part of that larger vision.”

Before joining Stradley Ronon, Sweeney was the talent leader of trust services at PwC LLP, a global client services and technology firm. She led the development and execution of talent strategy consisting of 11 offices, 300 staff and 25 partners. Sweeney earned her B.A. from Colgate University.
