PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce the firm has been recognized as a Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). The Compass Award recognizes those law firms and corporations demonstrating a strong and unique commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession.
LCLD is one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity and consists of more than 430 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners–the leadership of the profession–who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
The Compass Award recognizes those organizations that demonstrate their commitment to LCLD and its goals of inclusive leadership through participation in all of LCLD’s signature programs, by attending its Annual Meeting, by publishing a Leader’s Pledge, and by committing to the mentoring of diverse law students. Stradley was one of only 182 law firms nationally to receive this honor.
The firm was pleased to have attorneys selected for LCLD’s signature programs, including Dean Krishna, who served as a Fellow in LCLD’s landmark Fellows Program. This program is designed for diverse junior partners who have demonstrated leadership throughout community impact and commitment to equity and inclusion.
In addition, Gabriella Leyhane and Cameron Redfern were selected for LCLD’s Pathfinder Program. The Pathfinder Program is designed for junior associates who have a passion and dedication to building diverse professional networks, developing foundational leadership skills, and understanding career development strategies.
Last year, LCLD’s Board of Directors announced a requirement for each Member to create a public pledge detailing actions they will take to advance diverse talent.
