Stradley Ronon Partners Present at Burford Capital Securities Litigation Symposium

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that two partners and members of the firm’s investment management litigation group, Keith Dutill and Joe Kelleher, presented at the Burford Capital Securities Litigation Symposium on Nov. 1 in New York. Their presentation, “Direct Litigation and Fund Boards: Priorities and Practices,” discussed what fund boards should know regarding investor recovery litigation, the scope of the different types of lawsuits and best practices for independent directors.

Dutill is a trial lawyer with a national practice focused on high-stakes litigation, including securities fraud and investment management disputes. He is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been consistently listed by The Best Lawyers in America in multiple substantive litigation fields. Over the course of his career, Dutill has tried more than 50 cases to conclusion. On behalf of plaintiffs in securities fraud cases, he has recovered in excess of $200 million in the aggregate for his clients.

Kelleher’s practice focuses on securities and investment management litigation, complex commercial disputes and insurance coverage matters. He is an experienced litigator who represents investment companies, investment advisers, financial institutions, insurance companies and public and private companies in a wide variety of matters. Kelleher routinely advises the world’s largest mutual fund complexes regarding securities fraud opt-out litigation in the U.S. and investor recovery actions overseas.
