Samantha Kats Rejoins Stradley Ronon in Malvern

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that it has expanded its litigation department with the return of Samantha B. Kats as managing counsel in the firm’s Malvern office. Kats returns to the firm from Mannion Prior, LLP, a boutique Pennsylvania firm, where she served as a senior associate, handling trust and estate litigation.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sam back to the firm,” said Jeffrey D. Grossman, partner and chair of Stradley Ronon’s litigation department. “Sam is a terrific lawyer and longtime friend. We look forward to having her reacquaint with Stradley’s colleagues and clients, who will benefit from Sam’s strong experience and high-touch client service.”

Kats focuses on complex civil litigation, representing corporate, nonprofit, financial services industry and institutional clients in a wide variety of matters, including commercial contract disputes, insurance coverage, general liability defense and securities litigation and regulatory enforcement in federal and state courts, as well as private and FINRA arbitration. Kats also focuses on trusts and estates litigation, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and matters involving powers of attorney and guardianships. Kats has served as lead counsel in trials and handled many hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions.

In the community, Kats serves as vice president of the Board of Directors of Children’s Village. This nonprofit organization provides early childhood education and school-age academic enrichment distinguished by excellence and family diversity. She also serves on the Board of Directors and as co-chair of the Endowment Committee of the Montgomery County Victim Services Center, a nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential comprehensive support services to those affected by crime. Kats is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association and Society of Professional Women.
